Made in Provence in a responsible approach

Our products are lovingly made in our workshops in Grignan, surrounded by truffle oaks and lavender fields, where we are committed to using traditional methods, just as we do for our handmade candles.

Master wax makers, perfumers from Grasse, responsible and passionate growers, we are committed to working with a network of quality partners and artisans whose know-how brings real value and authenticity to our products.

- Our perfumes are made in Grasse, the capital of perfumery.

- Our natural extracts are sourced, as far as possible, as close as possible to our workshops.

- Our Durance rose, for example, is grown in Drôme Provençale according to the principles of organic farming by our partner Sabine Couvent.

- The organic olive oil in the Les Essentiels collection comes from Provence.

- In partnership with farmers in Haute-Provence, we have initiated borage test fields. The goal is to obtain a French oil from organic farming.

Noble raw materials

Durance strives to select the most precious raw materials and plants that best reflect the beauty of Provence and the love it has for it. This is why Durance skincare products are enriched with carefully selected raw materials for their nobility and for skin-friendly formulas.

- Vegetable oils (sweet almond, olive, grape seed, sunflower, etc.).

- Plant extracts from flowers, fruits, leaves, or roots, for their fragrant power or their benefits, in the form of essential oil, absolute, or even extraction using vegetable glycerin...

- Gentle foaming agents of plant origin.

A sensory, no-nonsense formulation

Durance pays the greatest attention to the composition of its products by favoring ingredients of natural origin and constantly seeking to increase the natural content of our formula portfolio, with the goal of continuous improvement. For example, we use vegetable oils instead of silicones or mineral oils.

Our treatments are therefore composed of up to 99% ingredients of natural origin in accordance with the ISO 16128* standard.

Home fragrances, cosmetics or personal perfumes, the manufacturing of our products is guided by very strict specifications from which many controversial ingredients are banned.

Because we do not want to have to choose between sensoriality, naturalness and quality of our formulas, we resort to the use of synthetic ingredients in reasonable proportions necessary for the integrity and comfort of use of our products.
